Do all numbers support SMS?
Most local and mobile numbers in supported countries allow two-way SMS. Toll-free and some national numbers may be outbound-only or unavailable for SMS depending on local regulations — SMS availability is shown per number at purchase.
Which countries support WhatsApp messaging?
WhatsApp Business is available in most countries where your company has an approved business profile. Outbound messaging uses approved templates; inbound replies are free-form and available in all supported regions.
Can I use my existing number for SMS or WhatsApp?
Yes. Numbers ported into Cliqtel can be enabled for SMS where the country and number type allow it. WhatsApp channels can be attached to an existing business number following Meta’s verification process.
Do you offer both API and UI access?
Yes. Every account comes with the Cliqtel inbox UI and the messaging API. Use them together — send from the UI, receive via webhooks, or fully automate with the API.
Can I receive inbound messages?
Yes. All inbound messages — SMS replies and WhatsApp conversation messages — are delivered to the Cliqtel inbox and to any webhooks you configure.
How are message events delivered to my systems?
Cliqtel sends signed webhooks for message events (sent, delivered, failed, inbound) to endpoints you configure. Events include the message ID, channel, status, and timestamps so you can reconcile against your own system.
